2025 Ontario General Election Campaign
Alex Perrier has lived in Ottawa South since his childhood, and graduated from the Computer Systems Technician and Social Media programs at Algonquin College in 2018. He currently works part time at a grocery store, and he maintains online communities for gaming and Christianity in his spare time. Alex passionately wants to see a better Ontario, and he believes that the province should embrace conservative values to achieve this.
In January 2022, Alex joined a New Blue Party event with Jim Karahalios and other leaders, as he was increasingly concerned about the Doug Ford PC Party’s compulsory vaccine passports, which were first proposed and praised by the NDP and Liberals. This was despite Ford’s initial promise to reject such passports. Alex once supported the PC Party in 2018, as it promised to repeal the Wynne Liberals’ inappropriate sex education curriculum, but felt betrayed when the following year, the PCs approved a sex ed program that was 99% identical to the Wynne program.
These are just two of the many reasons why Alex stopped supporting the PC Party, and started supporting the New Blue Party as a truly conservative alternative to the major political parties of Ontario. He helped with the New Blue’s door-to-door campaigns for the 2022 election in Ottawa South, and for the 2023 by-election in Kanata—Carleton. The New Blue became the 4th most popular party in that riding. Today, Alex is running as the New Blue candidate in Ottawa South for the 2025 election. Now is the time for a better option.
Alex Perrier is counting on your vote! (Ontario Election)
Those eligible to vote in Ottawa South may visit the local election office any day up to and including Wednesday, February 26, 2025 to vote early. It is located at 2210 Bank Street at the South Keys Shopping Centre, between Winners and Indigo. The office opens from 10 AM to 8 PM on Monday and Tuesday, or from 10 AM to 6 PM on Wednesday. Those who vote early must remember and write their favourite candidate’s complete name on the ballot – Alex Perrier in my case.
To vote on Election Day this Thursday, February 27, 2025, or for information on voting, please visit elections.on.ca for details. Election Ontario’s Voter Information Service uses the postal code of residence to provide the official voting location. On Election Day, voters receive a ballot with five candidates, and must mark an X in the circle next to the name of only one favourite candidate. My name – Alex Perrier – appears as the fifth option on this ballot.
Whether voting on Election Day or voting early, valid ID is required. Please visit elections.on.ca for a list of accepted ID. While those who have received a Voter Information Card (VIC) in the mail are encouraged to bring it to their voting location, the VIC is optional. Please make sure to bring valid ID before voting.
Thank you, and I hope that I can count on your support!
